Billing

How payment actually works.

Who takes the payment?

Polar, acting as merchant of record. They run the checkout, hold the card details and issue the receipt, and they collect and remit VAT or GST where it applies. Paper2Exam never sees or stores your card number.

Can I cancel?

Any time, from the link in your receipt. Pro stays active to the end of the period you have already paid for, and then the account returns to the free plan.

Do you refund?

If Pro isn't useful to you, email support@paper2exam.com within 14 days of a payment and that period will be refunded.

What counts as one generation?

One submitted document, however many passages come out of it — a 4,000-word paper that splits into four passages is one generation, not four. Failed attempts count too, because they consume the same model tokens; if one fails through no fault of yours, email support@paper2exam.com and it will be sorted out.

What happens when I run out of free generations?

Nothing breaks. New generations are blocked once the free allowance is used up, and everything you have already made stays available to sit and review. The free allowance is a fixed amount to get started rather than a daily reset, so upgrading to Pro is what unlocks more.
