What the service is
Paper2Exam takes a document you supply and generates English reading practice from it: passages rebuilt to exam length, questions across nine standard question types, a timed answering screen, and a review with explanations. You need an account to generate anything.
Your documents stay yours
You keep every right you already have in anything you upload or paste. You give us permission to process it for one purpose only: generating your exam and showing it back to you.
You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload. Don't submit material you aren't permitted to process this way, and don't submit other people's personal information.
Fair use of the service
- One account per person, and don't share sign-in links.
- Don't script or automate the generation endpoint, and don't work around the free allowance by creating extra accounts.
- Don't resell the generated exams as your own product.
- Failed generations count against your allowance, because they cost the same model tokens as successful ones.
About the generated questions
The passages, questions and explanations are produced by a language model. They are usually good and occasionally wrong. Check anything that matters against your source — the review screen shows the sentence each explanation came from precisely so that you can.
Paper2Exam is an independent study tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any testing organisation, and nothing here is a prediction of, or a guarantee about, any real exam result.
Plans, payment and cancellation
- The free plan allows a fixed number of generations per account, counted for the life of the account rather than reset daily; Pro provides a rolling daily allowance. Current numbers are on the pricing page.
- Payments are taken by Polar, acting as merchant of record. Their terms cover the transaction itself.
- Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. Cancelling stops the next renewal; access continues to the end of the period already paid for.
- Prices may change. An increase will never apply to a period you have already paid for.
- Refunds: email support@paper2exam.com within 14 days of a payment and that period will be refunded.
Availability
This is a one-person project. There is no uptime guarantee, and the service, its limits and its features may change. If it is ever going to be discontinued there will be notice and a window to export or delete your data.
Liability
The service is provided as it is, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, liability for any loss arising from using it is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be limited under the consumer law that applies to you.
